The
Grenadier Story:
I suppose you may want to know a little about Grenadier Arms,
as it started out as a dream. As a young boy, my Dad bought me
a nickel-plated reproduction of a single action army with stag
grips. Well, that began a long love affair with the single action
army and it's variants. As I grew up, I found that I had a love
for arms that was hard to indulge in basically gun free Japan,
a nation that does not encourage arms ownership. I eagerly waited
the day I could buy my own " Peacemaker."
In
the meanwhile, my love of arms parlayed into a love of history.
I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in history from Texas A&M
University, Corpus Christi in 1995. While earning my degree, I
began my collection of WWI infantry rifles (they were cheap),
and began a respectable collection of various weapons. All the
while, I kept saving up my pennies to buy that single action army
handgun.
It
became obvious that this wasn't going to be as easy as I thought.
The Colt was discontinued in 1982, so I was not likely to find
one used in a pawnshop that did not have a premium price. The
only option was to buy a reproduction.
I
loved single actions but the target sighted Rugers and Interarms
Dragoons did not catch my fancy. So I bought an Italian copy with
a brass trigger guard and back strap. Well, that was one of my
most hated guns I have had the displeasure to own. Blasted if
nearly every part on the thing broke. I asked for assistance from
the company I bought it from, but they didn't offer any. I thought
I was ripped off!! And, I was.
Unfortunately, I had purchased my gun from a person that was interested
in customers, not clients. What separates us from other companies
is the fact that we are absolutely devoted to our clients. I don't
want you to just buy one gun from us. I want to us to have such
a relationship that when you think gun, you think "Grenadier".
Our Warranty is explained elsewhere, and we stand by our products
we sell.
Selling
guns for a living is not a job to me, but it's my passion. I love
arms, and I love talking about them. Heck, there are not many
guns that I don't like. But, I still have a special place in my
heart for the military rifle. I have a complete collection of
WWI infantry rifles, and most of the carbines. I'm
here because I want to help You, the Client, share the fun of
buying and owning the finest replicas in the world.
Well,
that's a brief summary of how Grenadier Enterprises got started.
Hope to be hearing from you soon!
